This movie features Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Jayaram, Sathyan and many others. The music is by Harris Jayaraj. Certain artists have some good habits in them. Some habits would be very good that, even others can or should follow in their life too. Similarly, A.R.Murugadoss has found a very good habit with Vijay. Director Gowtham Menon says Yohan will be like James Bond film

There is a great question in Kollywood that which director will get the call sheet of Vijay after Thuppakki. Now there is information that Vijay will be acting in Yohan directed by Gowtham Menon after completing Thuppakki.  Director Gowtham Menon while speaking about this film said, "Yohan script is ready. I will commence the shooting once Vijay completes Thuppaki directed by A R Murugadoss. Vijay will be the only Tamilian in this film. The heroine will be an Indian. Rest of the actors and actresses will be foreigners. This is a Tamil film. This film will be of an International standard and will be released worldwide with English sub titles. A R Rahman is composing the music for this film. If I am able to establish the character Yohan, I will continue to make Chapter 1, 2 and 3 like James Bond films."

Thupaki 60% over

'Thupaki' is getting shape really fast, one has to say. Director AR Murugadoss, who normally takes time to complete his films, is shaping up the Vijay-starrer on a fast track and 60 per cent of the shooting is over so far. "Four songs and some talkie portions remain to be shot, which we will be doing soon," says Murugadoss, who is planning to start the Hindi version of the movie (with Akshay Kumar in the lead), by August. 'Thupaki' would have been completed by this time, if there was no break in the shooting. The tussle between the producers and workers halted the shooting schedule for some time, resulting in the movie's delay. Being produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, 'Thupaki' has Kajal Aggarwal as heroine. Buzz is that Vijay is playing a police officer in this action entertainer. Music is being composed by Harris Jayaraj.

Finally it is Vijay Tv who won the battle and took home the satellite rights of Vijay's Nanban for a record price . But, Sources say that this time Sun Tv is not going to make any compensation to bag the rights of Thupakki, which has Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead and directed by AR Murugadoss.

Vijay Become a Producer soon

Actor Vijay who had been donning lead roles in the films is going to become a producer soon. Vijay is going to remake the Tamil film Sattam Oru Iruttarai which was earlier directed by his father S A Chandrasekaran. This film gave Vijayakanth a break. Prabhu's son Vikram Prabhu who is currently acting in Kumki directed by Prabhu Solomon will be donning the lead role in this film. Vikram after completing Kumki will act in this film to be produced by Vijay. Vijay has named his production house as Ghilli Films. It is a known fact that Vijay himself was very much interested to act in the remake of Sattam Oru Iruttarai.

Vijay-Asin together again

Asin, who moved to Bollywood in 2008, is likely to make a comeback to Tamil cinema this year. She has reportedly been signed for the Vijay's movie which is the remake of Malayalam hit 'Bodyguard' starring Dileep and Nayantara. Sivaraju Venkatraju, who last made 'Priymanavale' with Vijay in 2000 will produce this new film. Siddique who directed the original will direct the Tamil version also. Siddique and Vijay combination earlier rocked in the comedy riot ‘Friends’. For Asin this film is a sort of comeback to Tamil. After her first Hindi film ‘Ghajini’ with Aamir Khan becoming super hit, her next film ‘London Dreams’ with Salman Khan bombed. So she is desperate to keep her top star status and image intact. But of course Asin never said she will not do a Tamil film after moving to Bollywood. Asin and Vijay pair was very successful with films like 'Pokkiri' and 'Sivakasi' doing wonders at the box office. Raj Kiran and Roja in Kavalkaran

The Vijay-Asin starrer Kavalkaran went on floors recently and shooting is going on in full swing in Karaikudi region in Tamil Nadu. Director Siddique has roped in several well-established actors and actresses to play important roles in the film. Earlier, Raj Kiran was signed up to play Asin’s dad in the film. The news now is that Roja will pair up with Raj Kiran to play the leading lady’s mom. This means, Raj Kiran and Roja will be Vijay’s parents-in-law in Kavalkaran.

Kaavalkaran title changed to Kaavalan

Vijay’s new film with Siddique has gone for a title change for the third time. When the film started had the MGR film title ‘Kaavalkaran’ hoping to cash in on the ever green popularity of MGR films. But when the original producers of the MGR movie Sathya Movies objected, the title was changed to ‘Kaaval Kaadhal’. But the second title did not find encouraging reactions from even among Vijay fans. So now the title has been again changed to ‘Kaavalan’. Another major development with the film according to sources is that director Shakthi Chidambaram has purchased the film lock stock and barrel including its negative rights. This sudden development has taken many by surprise. When most of the Tamil community is up in arms against the film because of Asin and the overseas business is in threat, Shakthi Chidambaram’s move is being viewed with mixed reaction.
