The year 2012 looks promising for Vijay. For a change, the  Kaavalan  star preferred noted filmmakers to young directors . As a result, the actor has three movies, which are directed by the best names of the Kollywood, in the current year. Here, we are trying to give a glimpse of his forthcoming movies. Nanban:  First on the list is  Nanban  directed by ace filmmaker Shankar. The movie, which is releasing for Sankranthi, has generated a lot of curiosity from the day it hit the floors . The multi-starrer film is a youthful entertainer, which is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster  3 Idiots . The Tamil film shows him in a college student avatar and he is all set to impress the audience with his comedy-filled movie. Thupaki: Thupaki,  as the title says, is an out-and-out action drama. The movie made by AR Murugadoss has attracted the mass audience, as the action genre is tailor-made for Vijay. The movie tells the tale of an ordinary man's journey to Mum...

This might be the hot news for all comedy movie lovers. PT Selvakumar who has worked under KS Ravikumar and A Venkatesh for nearly 100 films as a assitant director, part-producer and distributor is also the PRO of Ilayathalapathy Vijay so far, now he is ready to rock as a director. PT Selvakumar will be bringing up this laugh riot combo RJ Shiva, Santhanam, Nakul, Premji Amaran together in this untitled project which is going to kick start soon. Kollywood circles are sure that this ambitious person PT Selvakumar is sure to mark his presence in Tamil film Industry.

Finally both the mega films which are ready to rock this Pongal. Now the cool news is that both Nanban and Vettai has got a clean 'U' Certificate from the Censor Board of Film Certification team.   Both the film has impressed in the censors in their own way says sources. Vettai was said to be a racy action entertainer with a crispy storyline.   While Nanban which is the remake of 3 idiots has got the Shankar's touch of filmmaking and looks fresh with non stop entertainment adds sources.    According to the censor's both the films are said to do well at the box-office for their narrative style  

Nanban Nanban, Directed by Shankar has Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth playing the lead roles along with Illena who will portray the character of Kareena Kapoor in the Hindi Version. Along with them the movie also has Sathyaraj, SJ Surya and Anuya playing important roles in the movie.              

Kajal Aggarwal is superstitious and she admits it. The actress not only wants to give her best to her characters but also wishes to bring good fortunes to the films in which she acts. Well, the Naan Mahaan Alla gal believes that so far white has proved to be a lucky colour for her movies and through it, she wants to repeat the same for her upcoming Tamil movie Thupaki. The gorgeous girl claims that the movies have turned out to be massive hits, whenever she has sported white-dress for her first shots. Giving examples of Telugu blockbuster Magadheera, which was dubbed in Tamil as Maaveeran, and her debut Bollywood movie Singham, Kajal Aggarwal adds that in those films, the 26-year-old had given her introduction sequence wearing white-dress and hopes to continue the same magic for Vijay's Thupaki. Meanwhile, Kajal Aggarwal's wish has been granted by AR Murugadoss. We hear that she has shot her first scene wearing white costume in Thupaki too.    

The rights of the Bollywood version of 'Appadi podu…', a chartbuster song from Vijay starrer Tamil movie Gilli, has changed hands. Actor Sonu Sood, who had bought the rights, has sold it to Akshay Kumar. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has reportedly bought the rights of 'Appadi podu…' for his forthcoming Hindi movie Naam Hai Boss. It is said that the Khiladi requested Sonu Sood and the audio label to give him the same and managed to get the rights. Reports add that Akshay Kumar, like Sonu Sood, was impressed with the track at the first hearing. Without delaying, the actor decided to acquire the rights to know that it was already been sold to Sonu Sood and the latter had already started working on it. However, Akshay Kumar is yet to finalize the singer and the composer for the Hindi version of 'Appadi podu…'. The original song was sung by Krishna Kumar Kunnath and Anuradha Sriram and the Hindi version.
